Rummaneh Kindergarten Canopy

During a visit in 2015, Becca and Dave discussed potential fund raising projects with the Rummaneh Charitable Association [RCA]. The RCA was established in 2005 with the aim of improving the wellbeing of the community through a variety of actions and activities. The discussion resulted in the WWFOP agreeing to raise funds to build an outdoor canopy for the kindergarten, providing much needed shade and extending the teaching environment.

The canopy was completed in the summer of 2016 and Kate andShaun were able to see the finished canopy for themselves during a visit in October this year. The canopy was not only being used for the kindergarten but for wider community activities.
